"After making little progress during months of sessions with a number of physical therapists and other body workers for a chronic shoulder injury, seeing Beth Austin and taking her advice for appropriate exercises healed me in a matter of weeks. Her approach is personal, not formulaic, taking precise measurements of progress and altering exercises as appropriate in the course of the therapy. Her holistic approach, her knowledge of the human body, and her gentle and clear communication skills make her a truly exceptional practitioner."

“I was so happy to hear that Beth is returning to craniosacral work, as she is one of the most gifted practitioners I have encountered in my long and painful journey. I am so happy that she is back in California so I can benefit from her expertise and healing touch. Being a scientist I have to admit that I was a skeptic when I first experienced this type of work, but there is no denying the data of results! I marveled at how this technique (in which the touch is so light you sometimes barely feel it) could have such a huge impact on relaxing my chronically tense muscles.”

“When I first came to see Beth I had been farming for many years and that particular growing season had incurred a series of back injuries and so I was a bit sore, even slightly bent. The first thing about Beth is that she is very attentive. You feel right away that you are being listened to, you are being heard. This carries over very deeply to the way she tunes into the body of her client: carefully sensing and perceiving the subtleties of what is going on with a compassionate and intelligent touch that I had never experienced before. Craniosacral work is a dialogue that allows for a new understanding to occur, and leads to adjustments and realignments which for me have had a profound and long-lasting benefit. Beth’s skillfulness, her balance of intuition with intellect and great technique with great heart was a revelation to me. Her work and presence are something for which I remain grateful to this day. She is a real healer.”

“I was referred to Beth when in search of some help for my sons (an infant and toddler). They each had muscle tightness (torticollis due to being born breech) and challenges with range of motion (as a result of several surgeries in infancy) which was holding them back from meeting certain physical milestones. Beth was warm and inviting and made my sons very comfortable. Her technique was gentle and very effective! She worked with each of them individually, at their comfort level, and after just a few months (and 5 sessions) they showed tons of improvement. My toddler can now throw overhand and can reach up with both arms which he was unable to do before working with her. And the infant showed much less muscle tightness in his neck which helped him learn to roll and gain more head control. I would definitely recommend Beth for her compassionate care and tailored technique to meet the needs of each individual client.”
