Brain Retraining

Small Groups

February 12 - March 12, 2025

5 consecutive Wednesdays

9:00 am PT | 12:00 pm ET | 5:00 pm UK

Beth will offer a series of five weekly 90-minute group coaching sessions in the interim between Gupta Program Webinar series.

Together we will go deeper in our retraining, exploring motivation, the caring process of dis-identification and developing a Healing (LWS) Presence, working with resistance, developing trust, building support. There will be time for questions, sharing and, as appropriate, opportunities for brief 1:1 work.

Group size will be limited to 10 participants and is open to those currently subscribed to the Gupta Program and who have been working consistently with their retraining for at least 6 months.

Each group meeting will begin with a settling meditation and end with an integration exercise or meditation.

Questions will be collected from the small group in the time before each group meeting so that our focus together will emerge from our collective curiosity and respond to where more support is needed.

There will be a recording sent out after each session.

$250 Series fee

About Beth

Beth has been practicing as a physical and somatic therapist for over 30 years and as a Gupta Program coach since 2022. She has trained extensively in osteopathic healing work including Craniosacral Therapy and Somatoemotional (Release) Integration and has had a private practice for many years in Santa Cruz, California.

Between 2018 and 2020, with the support of the Gupta Program, Beth was able to recover from chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain and food intolerances.

Back in the 1990s Beth began developing and leading small groups - first working with traditional physical therapy movement, awareness and breathwork for pain relief. In 2004 she met and studied with David Berceli and began leading Trauma Releasing Exercises small group series, leading a pilot study with this work.

Beth has been fascinated with neurology since physical therapy school, working in neuro rehabilitation in her early years as a PT. As she began to understand the roots of her own health challenges, she began studying different neuroplastic recovery approaches.

Having worked with patients with chronic pain and chronic health conditions for more than 20 years she recognized the Gupta Program’s particular approach as a kind of ‘holy grail’ she had been looking for for years professionally (and ultimately personally).

Beth has led 6 week Introduction to Neuroplastic Healing groups (in person before the pandemic and since via Zoom), weekly drop in Brain Retraining support groups, ongoing closed small group Brain Retraining Support Groups and also offers periodic Becoming a Healing Presence in Your Own Journey workshops for Santa Cruz Survivors Healing Center.

She is passionate about cultivating healing space and is a long time meditation practitioner and a current student of Thomas Hubl’s work on collective healing, developing presence and relationship as a medium for healing.

In addition to healing work with humans, Beth also enjoys working with animals and has spent years working in organic and biodynamic farming.

She is currently involved in supporting the small but growing ethical dairy movement and is temporarily located in the Eastern United States in order to work with this project.

Brain Retraining is a way of recalibrating our physiological orientation achieved through following our (maladaptive) stress reactions and building new neuronal networks through attention, visualization, movement, positive emotion and connection. These practices of reconditioning develop resiliency and in time return us to a thriving physiological state and a deep sense of personal power.

“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”
